The opening ceremony, Darren H. Wood :
I have been with AREVA since 2003 in various roles of progressive responsibility. Currently I am in my favorite job; I am responsible for our global product development for the following product lines: component repair and replacement, non-destructive examination, and robotics and common tooling. I like it because of the global mix of technologies, business, and strategy. Before AREVA I worked at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oconee Nuclear Station, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Duke Engineering and Services – Atlanta Georgia, and 3.5 years outside of nuclear for Air Control Science. I have a bachelor of science in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee; I am a Registered Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering; and I completed my MBA at Lynchburg College.
